Last Stop on the Krafty Hop!!

I'm so super excited about the NEW July rubber stamp release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.....which is NOW available!!  I just love each and every set we've got for you and I'm sure you'll agree now that you've hopped around the Krafty Girls' and Guests' blogs today and seen them all in action!!!

This is the last stop on today's celebratory HOP and I'm sharing with you this card featuring the new OH, SNAP! stamp set!!!  I think this might be my fave image EVAH!!!

I used my new paper pad by First Edition called New Bloom.  I simply adore the colour combination and all the glittah!!  Using the colours as my jumping off point, I coloured up the sweet girlie image with my Copic markers and used my Spellbinder dies to cut her out and layer up the image.  I used SU cardstock for the base and matting and then used a die to create the heart border.  I used a combination of Prima, Petaloo and Wild Orchid flowers and pearl brads and lastly added one of the fabulous sentiments!!  Have I said that I {heart} this stamp set!!!

Not only are all the new stamp sets available, but I've got lots of paper pads on SALE 20-40% OFF right now, so scoop them up before they're all gone!!  Gotta make room for the new stuff coming down the line!  ALSO every order will receive a COUPON tucked inside with a code for a discount on your next order.....just 'cause I loves my customers!!!  ;)

I hope you've enjoyed today's krafty goodness....now you can head on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop and find all the goodies!!  Happy kraftin' and happy shoppin'!!

Challenge 238 - Sketchy Time! And I'm the Hostess!

Good morning, krafty friends!!  It's time for another fun challenge with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and guess what?!  I'm the hostess this week and my challenge is a SKETCH!

I just love sketch challenges because it really takes a lot of the guess work out of creating.  Sometimes the hardest part is designing a new layout for your card, so sketches give you that jumping off point!

My card features the mermaid and whale image from the new Under the Sea 2! stamp set!!  I used the new Enchanted Garden 6x6 paper pad from Bo Bunny because I just loved the colours and I think they go really well with the watery theme!  I coloured up the image using coordinating Copic markers and used several Spellbinder dies to create the main layer.  The embellishments include a double bow using some wrinkled seam binding ribbon, a gorgeous frosted finishes embellishment from SU in the middle of the bow, a spray of pearls and some glittery flowers!  The final touch is the Need a Hug? sentiment from the Under the Sea 2! stamp set!

There are TWO ways to enter our challenges.....on the posts in the KKStamps Blog and also in the photo folders in our Krafty Friends facebook group!!  We have two challenges every week....the Saturday one (this one) and a weekly Anything Goes challenge on Wednesdays!  Please join us for chances to WIN gift cards to the shop!

Also don't forget that we have a DOZEN of our fabulous stamp sets on SALE 25-50% OFF this weekend in our Frugal Friday Specials!!  Scoop up some new stamps, paper pads, EZmount and get kraftin'!!

These Boots Were Made For Splashin'!

Good morning, krafty friends!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring one of the images from the new RAINY DAY FUN! rubber stamp set now available at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!

I had a lot of fun playing with Lulu here and creating this card.  I actually started out with the sketch which was given to us as a challenge at Scrapfest this year.  I used some older My Mind's Eye papers and coloured up the image in coordinating colours using my Copic markers.

The main layer was cut out using my Spellbinders squares and scalloped squares.  I added a flag layer in the middle, tied an organdy ribbon across the center, did some doodling and added some flower embellishments with buttons and linen thread.  Lastly I added one of the fun sentiments that comes with the RAINY DAY FUN! stamp set and stamped it on a banner cut out with the Silhouette!

I'm entering this card in a Sassy Cheryl's Neighbourhood challenge going on this week!!!  Have fun and happy kraftin'!

Happy Canada Day!

Good morning and Happy Canada Day!!  I know a lot of people have the day off today and are probably heading to the beach!!  So I thought I'd share my card today featuring the new BEACHY KEEN stamp set!!

I stamped the image on Xpress It cardstock using Memento ink and coloured her up in some bright, summery colours that match the Bo Bunny Key Lime paper pad!  These papers are so much fun and perfect for a beachy card!

I added some yellow lace trim, some linen thread, some brads and some matching sequins!  I love the doily die behind the main image and then I used one of the fun sentiments that comes with the set!  Lastly, I added a glittery Prima flower!!  Now if only I looked this good in a bathing suit!  Haha!  But doesn't she just look so joyful??!

Don't forget that Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps has two fun challenges going on each week at our challenge blog!  There's Wonderful Wednesdays which are always Anything Goes and we have our usual Saturday challenges....this week's is Clean and Simple!!!  Did you know that ANYONE can play along with ANY stamp and have a chance to WIN??  Hope you can join us for all the krafty fun!

Happy kraftin'!

Good morning, krafty friends!!!  As you know, this past weekend saw the release of our NEW June stamp sets!!!  It included some sassy pirate ladies from Annie called BOOTYLICIOUS, a set of pirate kiddos from Cheryl called LIL' SWASHBUCKLERS and a new set of beautiful mermaids and friends from Thais called UNDER THE SEA 2!!!

Today I'm sharing a card I made featuring one of the BOOTYLICIOUS ladies!!  Haha!  There's just something about pirates that I love!  They have cool clothes and hats, they are sassy and sexy PLUS they have such awesome accents!!  ;)

I stamped the image on Xpress It paper with Memento ink and coloured her up with my Copic markers to coordinate with the World Traveler papers by Teresa Collins.  I distressed everything with black distress ink, added some May Arts ribbon, some rhinestones and a skull and crossbones charm!  Lastly I stamped one of the fabulous sentiments from the BOOTYLICIOUS stamp set!!

Shabby Chic Birthday Girl!

I'm excited to share this card with you today because I love the way it turned out!  I was on a roll in the krafty kave this weekend and saw the challenge over at Kit and Clowder to create a shabby chic card for June!  So off I went!

I love the look of shabby chic but don't often use it but I just got some great papers called Vintage Lace by Bazzill that were perfect for this technique!

So I coloured up the Birthday Girl image from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps using my Copic markers then cut it out using my oval Nestabilities and sponged around the frame with Tea Dye distress ink!  I also sponged all the patterened papers and the card base is vanilla!

The frame and paper piercing template I used for both the main layer and the sentiment layer are from Stampin' UP.....I love that shape!  The sentiments is from the Wanna Hang? stamp set!

Then I added some pretty accent flowers AND my fave part....the silk ribbon from May Arts!  I used my Bow Easy to make a nice, full double bow with it!

Thanks so much for stopping by.....and happy kraftin'!!
