THE END of our Krafty Hop!!

This is the end of the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps December Release Hop!! Awwwww! I know, I wish it could go on forever too.....but weren't the creations along the way incredible??? I knew you'd like 'em!

But wait!! There are two cards left.....mine!! Haha!! I have two creations to share with you featuring images that are being released today!!

First off I have Sharin' Some Cocoa!! I just love this sweet little image of Miles and Maisie having a warm cup of cocoa on a cold winter's day. I stamped them on Neenah with Memento and coloured them with my Copics.

The papers I used are from Colorful Christmas by My Mind's Eye! The card base is kraft and I used lots of colorful embellishments like coordinating buttons, some white twine, some snowflake punches and some sweet green rick rack. I finished it off by stamping the Warm Winter Wishes sentiment from the Holiday Sentiments set on a tag from the paper kit and then pop dotted everything!

My second card features the studly Clint the Cowboy! Doesn't he remind you of John Wayne or Clint Eastwood....actually when I think cowboys I think of Emilio Estevez in Young Guns...remember that movie?

Anyhoooo.....I decided to go with a clean and simple look and layout for this card as I figure it's going to go to a Dude! So I only used kraft and brown cardstocks, some brown linen thread and some star punches attached with antique brass brads. Then I dirtied it up a bit by sponging it with some brown chalk ink. Perfect for a cowpoke! Now Clint comes with the sentiment I used PLUS a second one....Hey There, Buckaroo!!

Now hop on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps shop where ALL the new stamps are available along with the Gimme Kimmie's Kits for those who have to have the whole release from each artist.

**Also** as a thank you to our loyal customers who frequent our shop all year long, we have a Kimmie's Kustomer Appreciation Special going on now! All orders of $50 or more before shipping and taxes, will receive a free stamp of our choice. (It's a surprise, so no requests please.) This special will run from today until Saturday, December 18th, so place your orders now!

Thanks for joining us for our last Hop of the year! Now hop on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop and........well, shop!! haha!

Happy kraftin'!

Challenge 58....and another PEEK!!

This week's challenge is brought to us by the ever so sweet and talented Beate!! She's asked us to use Manly Colours on our projects!! This works out well, since some of the new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps that are being released tomorrow, are DUDES!!!! Heehee!

I don't know about you but I'm ALWAYS in need of more manly stamps and cards in my stash! So this challenge was right up my alley! And I used my FAVOURITE of the new Steven Leary stamps....this one is called Shovelling Miles!! Doesn't he just make ya giggle???

To tell you the honest truth, he makes me laugh so hard because this is EXACTLY what my Dad looks like after he's shovelled the entire driveway and then the snowplow goes by and fills in the end of the driveway again! NOT a happy camper! Haha!

So I pulled out some retired Stampin Up winter papers that I got last year, I think. I can't remember what they are called but I just loved that they were non-traditional winter colours and I thought they were perfect for this card....orange, blue, green, brown. So I stamped Shovelling Miles on Neenah white cardstock with Memento ink and coloured him up with my Copic markers.

I added some yummy green striped ribbon along with a big ol' bow and hung a snowflake charm from it. Then I stamped a rather sarcastic sentiment, Happy Winter, from the Holiday Sentiments set and pop dotted everything. I finished it off by adding some Stardust Stickles to the snow!

And I TOTALLY plan on mailing this little dude to my Dad!! Lucky he doesn't check out my blog much so he won't see this. I hope it arrives in his mailbox on a rather snowy day! Teehee!

Now hop on over to the KKStamps Challenge Blog and check out all the wonderful 'Manly' inspiration from the Krafty Girls and Krafty Guests! Then be sure to join us for this week's challenge! And come on back tomorrow for our last Krafty Hop of 2010!!! There will be lots to see and stamps to win...and of course ALL the new stamps will be available!!!

Happy kraftin'!

December Krafty Peeks....Day TWO!!

Ready for some more fun *new*Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps??! It's been so much fun playing with them, I just can't staaaaand it! Heehee!

Again, I have two cards to share with you today! (Obviously, I just couldn't stop colouring them up!) The first one features Valentine Willard!!! Do you remember him?? Everyone just loved this little fella and his stressed out facial expression so much, that he's making a reappearance this month!!

I stamped him up and coloured him with Copic markers, coordinating with this retired Stampin' Up patterned paper. I cut him out and embossed him with my circle Nesties and then sponged around the edge while the image was still in the die. I used Straw chalk ink by Versamagic.

The card base is 6x6 and the layout is a Kimmie original (feel free to use it...hahaha). I used one of the two sentiments that Valentine Willard comes with...the other is Bee My Valentine. Then I added a trio of buttons with some linen thread. I finished it off by adding a bit of sparkle to the roses and to the bee with my Sakura Stardust gel pen!

My second card features the new Snowmobilin' Fun stamp from Steven Leary! Miles and Maisie are at it again, this time having some fun in the snow!! The papers I used are a new release from Stampin' Up and I just love the colours! I stamped up the image and coloured it with my Copics, then cut it out and embossed it with a deckled rectangle Nestie.

I added a strip of ribbon along with two corduroy brads (which I love and have been hoarding). then I stamped the PERFECT sentiment from the Holiday Sentiments set, Got Snow? on pink cardstock. I finished off the card with some Stardust Stickles for the snow!

Be sure to hop on over to the Challenge Blog and see what other Krafty Girls and Guests have some peeks to share with ya! And be sure to come back tomorrow for more peeks and a super fun challenge!!

Happy kraftin'!

December Krafty Peeks....Day ONE!!!

It's time, it's time!! It's time for Kraftin' Kimmie's very last release of 2010....and it's a good one too! For the next four days you're going to see lots of peeks of the new stamps with a Krafty Hop on Release Day, Sunday!

Today, I have two fun winter cards to share with you, both featuring images from Steven Leary! The first one uses Sledding Pals! I think this one is SO adorable! Don't you love these two little bear cubs??? They're having some winter fun on the snowhills!

I made this quick Christmas card using patterned papers from the Eskimo Kisses line by Basic Grey and coloured the image with my Copic markers. I made the snow all sparkly with some Stardust Stickles, then added some white pearls and some super sparkly rick rack across the middle. Not sure if you can see it in the photo...but it's really purdy!!

My second card is another fun winter card and it features the new image called Snowshoe Fun!! I just LOVE penguins! Especially roly poly ones like this little guy. And right now, in Southwestern Ontario, snowshoes might just be our new mode of transportation!! haha! We need them with all this white stuff!!

I used this sweet new paper called Snow Much Fun by Three Bugs in a Rug! I coloured the image up with my Copics and sparkled up the snow with Stardust Stickles. Then I added this awesome wide black rick rack that I picked up at Joann's a couple of weeks ago. Then I added a button with linen thread and finished off the card with a fun sentiment from our Holiday Sentiments set. So cute!

Now hop on over to the Challenge Blog and see who else has some fun creations to share!!!

Happy kraftin'!

Challenge 57 - Let It SNOW!!!

Happy Saturday, folks!! I bet a lot of you are heading out to do some Christmas shopping today.....not me!! I refuse to enter a store on the weekends after December 1st! It's just craziness! I prefer to run out during the weekdays and even then it's busy! Yikes! Actually this year, I've done a lot of 'cyber shopping' and it's been great! None of the lines, crabby people, hustle and bustle...eeek! And if you happen to have 'krafty peeps' on your list (or you'd just like to do some shopping for your krafty self...hehe), Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is having a fabulous sale right now, but only until tomorrow...December 5th! So this week's Krafty challenge is hosted by one of our AMAZING Guests, Jessica Diedrich!!! Some of the regular Krafty Girls are taking the month off and we have some wonderful friends helping us out with the challenges and also with the new December release next weekend! Just wait 'til you see what they have in store for ya!!

So Jessica's challenge is 'Let It Snow!'!!! So just have snow on your patterned papers, in your image, use punches, stickles, liquid applique etc! We want to see you make it SNOW!!

For my card I used the sweet Miles on Ice! Poor little fella appears to be floating away and he looks a little stressed...heehee! I used a new 6x6 pad by Bo Bunny and I just love the blues and snowflakes on the papers! I used Kraft for the base and some sparkly Bazzill Bling in a light tan for the scalloped oval matting layer and sentiment. I think the sentiment I used from the Holiday Sentiments set is JUST perfect, don't you? I finished it off with some lovely sheer navy ribbon!

Now hop on over to the challenge blog and join us in our snowy challenge! Then hop over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop and use your coupon code while you still can!!!
