Last Stop on the HOP!!

Well, you've reached the final stop on today's Crazy Krafty HOP!!  We hope you've enjoyed all the awesome projects that our design teams had to share with you!!

I have one last card to show you......featuring the lovely PRISCILLA!!!  She is from the latest Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps release featuring the Gothic Girls!!  You can purchase her individually or if you want the entire set, it's available as a Gimme Kimmie Kit at a 15% discount but only for a few more days!!

The card I created uses these awesome black and white patterned papers from the Kaisercraft Timeless 6.5x6.5 pad from One Crazy Stamper!!  They are so elegant!!  I coloured Priscilla in warm grey tones and added a punch of colour with fuchsia hair and shoes and book!!  Gotta say I love the way it turned out!

So I added the matted with matching cardstock, added some black crocheted trim and then the most beautiful ZVA rhinestone swirl!  It's gorgeous!  Lastly I stamped the sentiment that comes with Priscilla!

Now if you haven't checked out the rest of the hop, head on over to the KKS Challenge Blog where you can find all the hoppers!  And make sure to leave a comment at each and every stop because some lucky peeps are going to win some goodies!!!

Happy krafitn'!!

The END!!!!

Sadly, this is the final stop on today's Kraftin' Kimmie HOP!!!  But, that means your next hop is over to the SHOP where ALL the awesome new stamps that you've just seen are NOW available!!!!

I have just one more project to show ya!!  This quick little card features one of the sweet little dudes from our new Snips and Snails set by Cheryl Alger!!!

I stamped the image on Neenah cardstock using Memento ink and coloured him up with my Copic markers!  I figured this awesome Happy Day paper that I scooped up from One Crazy Stamper, was perfect for this image!!  So fun!!

The card base is kraft cardstock and I distressed all the paper edges with chalk ink and added a button and some brown linen thread.  Lastly I stamped one of the fun sentiments from Snips and Snails on one of the little calendar squares I cut from a page of the 6x6 Happy Day pad!  Perfect for a birthday sentiment!

Well that's it!  So we hope you enjoyed the HOP and have lots of fun when you SHOP!!!

You're Such a Doll!! And so are these GOTHIC GIRLS!!!

So you've seen that the new Annie release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is GOTHIC GIRLS!!!!  What do you think of them so far??  Super cool, right??

This week's challenge at the KKS Challenge blog is a cool SKETCH from my little Pammy-poo!!  Heehee!  I love her sketches....it makes my creative process so much less labour intensive!!  It's a fantastic design that fits so many of our images, so I hope you can play along!  And if you're our random winner for the week, you will win this awesome new stamp that I've used today...........it's WEDNESDAY!!!  No, no...it's actually Saturday today, but that's the name of the stamp!!  haha!

I stamped this little cutie on Neenah cardstock using Memento ink and coloured her up with my Copics!  The gorgeous patterned papers I used are from the Lost and Found - Breeze 6x6 pad from My Mind's Eye!!  I'm lovin' their pads lately....in fact I *may* have ordered a whole bunch of new ones recently....*cough*.  I need more paper like a hole in my head.....but I digress......

I just love distressing my paper and I don't do it nearly enough, so this time I distressed all the edges of all the patterned papers and the main image.  I attached some pretty flowers cut from the papers and also tied some wrinkled binding ribbon across the middle.  Lastly I added one of the TWO sentiments that come with Wednesday!!!  So cute, right???!

Head on over to the KKS blog to see who else has new Gothic Girls to share today and be sure to leave some love at each stop!  You may be the winner of some of these new cuties!  Then come on back tomorrow when ALL of the new stamps we've shown you over the last few days will finally be available at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!!!  Eeeeee!  I'm so excited!!!  OH and we'll have a super awesome Release Day Krafty HOP!!

Happy kraftin'!

I WOOF YOU!

Woof!!!  Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps has some fabulous new stamps from Emilie Goulet to share today, featuring our FURRY FRIENDS!!!  Heehee!!

The image I've used is from the new CANINE CAPERS 2 set (yes there is also a Canine Capers 1 set!)!!  Is this little dachshund just the cutest??  This particular set comes with THREE doggie images (the dachshund, a pretty poodle and a shaggy dog with his head hangin' out of the car window) and also FIVE coordinating sentiments!!  So fun!!

My card is fairly simple as I wanted to create a scene of sorts for our little puppy pal!!  I stamped the image on Neenah using Memento ink and coloured him up with my Copic markers and then cute him out.  The card base is kraft and I embossed another layer of kraft cardstock using the D'vine Swirls folder and matted it on red.  I created the grass using some green patterned paper from the Friends Furever 6x6 pad by We R Memorykeepers that I scooped up at One Crazy Stamper!  (Fantastic service and SO much choice!!)

I tied some red twine and dangled a cute little doggie charm from the bow.  And lastly I stamped one of the fun sentiments on a cloud die!  I think it turned out quite cute, if I do say so maself!!  Hehe!

So if you'd like to see the other two images from this set and all three from the Canine Capers 1 set, head on over to the KKS Challenge blog!  And while you're hoppin' around, be sure to leave a comment at each and every stop, because we're giving away BOTH of these fabulous sets!!!  Then come on back tomorrow when we'll be sharing a new challenge AND the new stamps from Annie Rodrigue!!!!

Happy kraftin'!

Krafty Peeks Day ONE......Snips and Snails!!

Well, it's day ONE of our fabulous November Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and BOY are we excited!!  Heehee!!

Today we are sharing a brand new SET of stamps by the lovely Cheryl Alger!!!  This set is called SNIPS AND SNAILS and I'm sure you can all guess what the theme is!!!  Let's hear it for the BOYS!!!

This SET features THREE sweet images by Cheryl, along with SIX coordinating sentiments....all together in one fantastic SET!!

The image that I used on my design is this shy little guy who is showing is love for someone!!!  Can't you picture him shuffling his feet back and forth, looking down at the ground, hiding those posies behind his back??  SO cute!!!

The colour scheme was inspired by the soft pastels in the patterned paper that's in the Summer's End line by Fancy Pants!  The card base is a 6x6 square in dark brown.  I stamped the image on Neenah white cardstock using Memento ink and coloured him up with my Copic markers!

I used a fun new wonky scallops border die from MFT, then tied some orange taffeta ribbon across the middle and added a brown corduroy button with some linen thread.  Lasatly, I stamped the perfect sentiment and cut it out with an oval punch!

There are two more fantastic images that are in this set and you'll get to see them all today!  Head on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Blog to see who has stuff to share and while you're bee-boppin' around, be sure to leave a little love because one lucky commenter is going to WIN the whole SNIPS AND SNAILS SET!!!!

Then come on back tomorrow to check out the gorgeousness we have to share featuring stamps from the amazing Emilie Goulet!!  And ALL the stamps we're previewing will be available on SUNDAY at the KKStamps Shop!!

Happy kraftin'!!

Frosty Winter Friends!

This is going to be a super quickie post because we are flying out the door!!  The fam is heading to Niagara Falls for a little Christmas shopping today!!  (And I hear there's a Coach outlet store there....teehee!)

The Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge this week is to Make It Masculine!!  So make sure you've got boyish colours on your card and you're all set!!  I used the new Frosty Winter Friends image and matching sentiment on my card!  I pulled out some retired SU papers that i love and coloured the image up with my Copics!

I used brown cardstock for the base and matting, added some brown felt ribbon, a large button and some thick jute for the bow!  I separated the sentiment to make little tags and love the way it turned out!  Lastly I added some sparkle to the image with my Sakura Stardust gel pen!!

Hope you can join us for this week's challenge!!  There's lots of great inspiration over at the Challenge Blog!  And don't forget all the new fun stuff we've added to the KKS Store this week!  We've got EZmount now!  And lots of peeps have been asking for the awesome new KKS Tees and Tote Bags, so they're up too!  Lastly, don't miss our Frugal Friday Specials and Retirement Sale, all going on now!!

Have a super weekend and happy kraftin'!

Stamping....JUST BECAUSE!!!

Yesterday morning, I woke up early and decided that since I had an extra hour with the time change and all, I would STAMP!!  Yep!  For no good reason either....just BECAUSE!!!  Not for a deadline, not for a preview or a release....just because!  And it was so much fun!!

So I pulled out the new Sending Winter Hugs stamp from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps October release (since I knew how quick he would be to colour up) and got busy!!  I was trying to get something done while everyone else in the house was still sleeping!!

I grabbed some retired SU patterned paper that was handy and coloured up my snowman in matching Copic colours and then stamped a blotchy stamp in Soft Sky around the edges.  The sketch is the new Sketch For You To Try and as soon as I saw it, I knew this stamp would be perfect!!

The card base is krafty and I used just some red for matting the main layer.  I added some olive seam binding ribbon and a little tag with some twine.  The PEACE word comes in our Holiday Sentiments set but this stamp actually comes with the Sending Winter Hugs sentiment as well and the whole thing is only $6!  Lastly I added some Stardust Stickles to sparkle him up!!

Well, that's it....just wanted to share my 'just because' card!  What did you do with YOUR extra hour???

Cheers to YOU!! and a Challenge!!

I have to be honest....when I started to work on this week's challenge from Michele....I was a little worried. She wants us to use a pin on our cards.  I mean a pin?  I've never used one on any of my designs before, although I've loved seeing them on other creations!  I always wonder, how am I supposed to send this to someone??  It might hurt somebody.  Do I only send it to someone I don't like????  *evil laugh*  So I asked the girls what they do.  I was told that you can put an earring back on the sharp end, or hot glue a bead on the end.....OR just take the pin out when you want to send it!  haha!  All great ideas!!

So with these tips in mind, I decided to start my card using the SASSY new Sophia stamp from our October release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!  Isn't she just so sexy?!  She comes with two sentiments and I think her dress would be just perfect to paper piece.....which I thought about AFTER I'd already coloured her.  I'll try that next time!

The papers I used are from the Basic Grey Indie Bloom 6x6 pad and I just love the pinks and turquoise and I decided to go with black as the base and for matting to really make them pop!  I added some pink satin ribbon across the middle with a pretty bow!  The pin was found in my stash of goodies that people have given me, so I couldn't even tell you where it came from....but I do remember now that I have a Pretties Kit from SU hidden somewhere in my craft room that has a lot of cool pins in it, so I will definitely use this idea again!  The pin I just slid through the middle of the bow.

Lastly I stamped one of the sentiments on the turquoise layer and then added some sparkle to Sophia's martini and of course, her eyeshadow!!

Now head on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge blog and check out how the other Krafty Girls used their pins!!

Happy kraftin'!
